Center of a circle

Using only a compass, can you find the center of a circle?
NOTE: You can't use anything other than compass. Not even a ruler or a scale. This implies, you can't make a straight also.

  1. start from any point on the circle and draw arc on the left and right of it, on the either side of the starting point, till it intersect each other on the circle.now we know the diametrically opposite points. again draw arc inside the circle from the two diametrically opposite points till it touches each other. the point of contact will be the center.
