Poison in Drink????

There was a booz party going on with many guests. Some of the guests left early after enjoying their drinks. While the others drank overnight. Next morning, news came out that everyone in the booz party died due to poison. Only those who left did not died. Figure out the source of poison when the same drink drank by the early leavers were able to survive. It has nothing to do with the quantity of poison consumed.

  1. Few possibilities are:

    (1) The glasses used by the people who died may have some problem like they got poison lining while washing or someone coated poison on purpose which led to the death of only those people who used those glasses
    OR
    (2) If they used water or soda or ice cubes to dilute their wine, may be after the initial lot left, the remaining used water or soda or ice cubes which had poison

  2. Not exactly right
The poison was in the ice cubes. The early drinkers drank fast before the ice melted. As a result, they survived. However, people who drank slowly died because the ice melted making the drink poisonous.
